Introduction

Follow Reddit user ArBROgast's journey from 110lbs to 145lbs with serious lifting within 1.5 years. ArBROgast shares his progress photos and thoughts on his regimen.

Journey

ArBROgast follows a modified Push/Pull/Legs routine with an extra pull day, adding compensation for his lacking back. His diet is primarily about 2500kcal a day, with around 150g of protein, and filled in with fats and carbs. He started with 45 lbs on bench and 65 lbs on squat, with not even knowing what a deadlift was back then.

Criticism

ArBROgast did face some criticism for using a photo from the age of 12 that wasn’t an accurate depiction of his progress. However, he did not have photos from the 1.5-year mark as he was too embarrassed to take any but promised to post more from his earlier days.

Workouts

Despite not doing much incline pressing, ArBROgast has a surprisingly square chest, he mainly stuck with flat dumbbell bench pressing. He doesn't work much on abs, just some crunches and planks sometimes but mainly due to his low body fat percentage.

Conclusion

ArBROgast's journey shows that serious lifting, a good diet plan, and dedication over time can result in significant weight gain. Everyone's journey is different; however, with a plan and consistency, anyone can reach their desired weight.
