Introduction

Brucas4ever’s weight-loss journey began when she was a freshman college student. She started with a weight of 155lbs and after 1.5 years, she was able to reach her goal weight of 106lbs, losing a total of 49lbs. This article will reveal how she achieved her weight-loss goal through healthy eating and exercise, her routine, and her progress details.

Exercise Routine

Brucas4ever aimed for five days of gym per week for one hour, but sometimes she managed only three or four sessions or even none. She did not stress about it and continued to try her best. When she started with the gym, she was not confident with the gym equipment, so she started from scratch, which might have held her back at first, but the journey was fun. She developed “high cardio” and “low cardio” routines on alternating days. She spent most of the hour working on her core. Eventually, she explored different weights and cut cardio down to 10 minutes a day to have more time for weight training.

Changes in Eating Habits

During her weight-loss journey, Brucas4ever was on the university's meal plan, and her eating habits were like eating out two to three times a day every day. She ensured to make little changes like cutting out soda for a year, and swapping out fries for fruits. She did not deprive herself of the food she enjoyed but learned to eat in moderation.

Avoiding Obsession

As Brucas4ever started to see progress in her weight loss journey, she made sure not to become obsessed with her goal. Taking time off from exercise and enjoying her meals did not hinder her progress. Her achievement was a slow but sustainable process, which allowed her to lose weight at her own pace, without putting unnecessary pressure on herself.

Conclusion

Brucas4ever’s weight-loss journey is proof that losing weight can be a slow and sustainable process. It required dedication in modifying her eating habits and having a workout routine that worked for her. Along the way, she discovered what worked for her and made herself accountable for her progress. Brucas4ever's weight-loss journey can inspire others to take small steps towards a healthier lifestyle by setting realistic goals, finding an exercise that they enjoy, and replacing unhealthy food with nutritious alternatives.
