A Complete Transformation

BabyShamuTheRevenge's journey from obese couch potato to marathon runner has inspired many women. She lost 43 pounds, reaching her goal weight of 160 pounds, and is now in the process of losing her last 25 pounds. During her journey, she ate a diet that consisted of lean proteins, complex carbs, fresh fruits, and veggies, with most meals ranging around 1400 calories.

Finding the Motivation

BabyShamuTheRevenge admits that the last few pounds have been tough to shed because of her love for cheat meals. However, she did not lose sight of her goals, staying motivated, and working out 4+ days a week. When it comes to staying motivated, BabyShamuTheRevenge emphasizes the importance of recognizing how far you have come and never giving up.

Becoming a Runner

Using the Couch to 5k program, BabyShamuTheRevenge successfully transitioned from someone who could barely run to a marathon runner in just one year. Her own tips for anyone starting to run include investing in good shoes, stretching before and after running, and investing in special socks and body glide for longer distances.

Paying the Price of Cheat Meals

Unsurprisingly, her weakness for cheat meals has come at the price of failing to achieve her ultimate goal. She now knows that for the next phase of her fitness journey, she will have to work on eating clean 85% of the time instead of the 60% that she currently manages. This is an important lesson for anyone who wants to achieve their weight loss goals.

Not Pursuing Perfection

BabyShamuTheRevenge admits to loving beer and indulging in other cravings such as chocolate and ramen. She knows that achieving a fit and healthy lifestyle is not about being perfect, but rather about balancing the good and bad. Her journey shows that even if you have some bad habits, achieving your fitness goals is still within reach.
