Introduction:

One Reddit user, Mscher, shares his inspiring fitness journey which starts from a weight of 200lbs to losing 30lbs and maintaining weight at a healthy 170lbs. Through hard work and determination, he achieved his goal of losing weight by counting calories and lifting to failure.

Workout:

Mscher worked out in his apartment gym consistently, lifting weights, and performing 350 weighted crunches a day to gain definition in his abs. He did four sets of different exercises, including rope pulldown crunch, holding a dumbbell while doing a regular crunch, weighted lying leg raise, and dumbbell side bend, doing 50, 20, 15, 10, and 20 reps, respectively.

Plateau Breakthrough:

When Mscher hit a plateau, he kept the faith and trusted the process. Therefore, he continued counting calories and lifting to failure, which is resistance training that involves performing repetitions until your muscles can no longer complete another movement. In three months, he was able to bulk up to 185lbs, and in another three months, he weighed 170lbs again while building impressive ab definition.

Diet and Exercise Plan:

Mscher has been able to maintain his weight loss by keeping track of his daily caloric intake and consistently doing resistance training. He emphasized the importance of eating enough protein daily to maintain muscle mass and fuel for workouts. Also, Mscher stressed high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and cardio for overall fitness.

Conclusion:

Mscher's fitness journey is an inspiring one, showing that sustainable weight loss is achievable through diet and exercise. By putting in the effort, consistency and trusting the process, he was able to achieve great results in just eight months. It's crucial to take into account that everyone's fitness journey is different, but consistency and hard work lead to a healthier and happier lifestyle.
