What is the ideal 180 cm weight for a male?

The ideal weight for a 180 cm male depends purely on your definition of ideal.

If we follow the idea of BMI, you could argue the ideal weight is between 72 kg and 90 kg. So we'll go ahead and say the ideal weight for a 180 cm tall male, is smack dab in the middle at 81 kg.

But the reality is a lot more complicated than that. BMI fails to take into account body fat percentage so can be wildly inaccurate for people who have large amounts of muscle, or very low amounts of muscle, or fat mainly around the abdominal area.

For most people, the BMI system will provide you a guideline, but there are better tools to reach for. Body fat percentage is probably the better way to measure your ideal weight, but it is a lot harder to track as it requires specialist equipment to get an accurate reading. Body fat scales that you can purchase for your home can provide a good way to track progress, but generally are not accurate and can fluctuate depending on your hydration levels and the time of day.
