Introduction

Reddit user zibbre recently shared her inspiring weight loss journey on the platform. At just 21 years old and 5'10", zibbre went from 222lbs to 182lbs in just four months, a whopping 40lbs loss! Read on to learn more about her journey and how you can try it too!

Motivation is Key

Zibbre admits that, at times, finding motivation was tough. However, she found that the benefits of losing weight, such as better sleep, clearer mind, and inner confidence, were more than enough to keep her going. So, whenever you're feeling down or unsure, try focusing on the positive benefits of losing weight!

Tracking and Listening to Your Body

For the first month or two, zibbre was meticulous about tracking her food intake. However, for the remainder of her journey, she listened to her body and no longer paid attention to calorie-counting. While tracking can be helpful for some, it's important to also listen to your body and its needs.

Goal-Setting

Zibbre's ultimate goal weight is still undetermined, but for now, she's aiming to lose an additional 20lbs. Her friend, CanuckLoonieGurl, who has the same height and starting weight as zibbre, has set a short-term goal of getting to 160lbs within the next three months. When it comes to goal-setting, it's important to remember to be realistic and kind to yourself!

Keep Up the Good Work

If you're struggling with weight loss or seeking motivation, know that many people are rooting for you! Whether it's setting realistic goals or listening to your body, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to losing weight. Find what works best for you and your body, and remember that every little step counts towards progress!
