The Journey to Becoming "Only" Overweight

Sajodo, a 25-year-old woman on Reddit, recently shared her weight loss journey with the world. Over the course of only three short months, she went from weighing 217.2 to 180.2 pounds. Even though Sajodo admits that she is still technically overweight, she is thrilled to be only 10 pounds from becoming "only" overweight.

The Secret to Her Success

Many people may be wondering how Sajodo was able to achieve such significant weight loss in a short amount of time. Sajodo shared her motto with the Reddit community: Move more, eat less. She keeps track of her food intake on MyFitnessPal, limiting herself to 1200 calories a day. Sajodo also started running about one month into her journey and has made it a habit to run at least 5 times a week, without eating back the calories she burned. Lastly, she gained another motivation boost by joining almost continuous DietBets over the last three months.

A Figure Worth Flaunting

Despite continuing to lose weight, Sajodo noted that she finally feels that she has a body that she can be proud of. With a goal weight of 140 pounds, Sajodo explained that she is beginning to realize that she can look amazing in just a few more months whereas it has never been a possibility before. Her journey not only resulted in her losing a significant amount of weight but also gave her newfound confidence.

No Loose Skin, No Worries

Another Reddit user questioned Sajodo about loose skin, which is a common concern for people who have lost a lot of weight. Sajodo confirmed that she did not have any loose skin and that she is anticipating some may develop on her arms. She plans to incorporate weight training when she hits her first goal of 169 pounds to help alleviate the potential issue.

Inspiring Others

One of the main reasons that Sajodo decided to share her journey on Reddit was to inspire others on the path towards healthier living. And it seems to have worked as evident by the many encouraging comments she received. Her efforts prove that weight loss is possible with the right habits, dedication, and discipline. Remember, it's never too late to begin a journey towards a happier and healthier you.
