Introduction

Losing weight can be a challenge for most people, especially those who have been struggling with obesity. However, for one Reddit user, thadass, the ketogenic diet proved to be a gamechanger in his weight loss journey.

The Starting Point

At the age of 27, and a height of 6'4", thadass weighed 319lbs. For a person of his height, this put him in the category of morbidly obese, which came with its fair share of health risks.

The Journey to Keto

Thadass had been struggling with his weight for quite some time, until he discovered the Reddit community, r/keto. This community promotes a low-carb, high-fat diet that helps individuals lose weight effectively. Thadass embraced this diet and began to see incredible results.

The Keto Lifestyle

Thadass did not find living on keto exceptionally difficult, although he had been a "carbaholic" before. He found that living on keto made it easy for him to make food choices and avoid food cravings. In fact, he ended up being in control of his hunger. When he was out and had limited food options, he would stick to a bite of something keto-approved or nothing at all until he could eat later.

The Result

Over the course of 8+ months, thadass lost an impressive 94lbs, reducing his weight from 319lbs to 225lbs. The transformation was incredible, and his health improved significantly. Thadass says that he felt younger, healthier, and happier, thanks to his keto diet.
