Introduction

Reddit user bslaven3 shared his incredible weight loss journey from 208 to 183 pounds by changing his diet, quitting drinking, weight training, and cardio in just 2.5 months.

Diet

The first step was cutting out pasta, bread and beer, substituting them with a gallon of water a day. The next was making smarter choices at dinner, opting for the salad over the burger or pizza. Bslaven3 started eating veggies at every meal, lots of protein like chicken, fish, and tuna. A typical day consisted of 2-3 hard boiled eggs, a protein shake or bar, fruit or veggies, grilled chicken breast, salad, and pretzels.

Training

Bslaven3 added cardio to his training routine, which consisted of lifting and workouts with a mix of bodybuilding and Insanity exercises. He would play basketball 1-2 days a week and run for 20 minutes 2-3 days a week. He did cardio during lunch breaks at work and ran at night. He also had a powerlifting and bodybuilding routine that included chest and triceps, legs, back and biceps, shoulders, and abs.

Supplements

Bslaven3 took pre-workout before lift, creatine, dextrose, and a BCAA, all these in the morning and post-workout. He also used BSN Syntha-6 protein powder twice a day.

Conclusion

The journey to losing weight comes with discipline and determination through a combination of healthy eating, intense physical activity, and a committed mindset. Bslaven3’s journey is proof that the reward of hard work can be seen within just a few months. Everyone can achieve this; they only need to try for themselves.
