A male Reddit user, thenewtbaron, shared his impressive weight journey to inspire others to achieve the same goal. The user, aged 30 and weighed in at 280lbs, managed to shed 60lbs in two years by eating easy-to-cook healthy food in bulk. By having chicken, veggies and other healthy food in the house, he was able to easily whip up tasty, filling and healthy meals in no time.

While not completely cutting out bread, he limited the amount he had around the house, and he didn't have soda or sweets at all. Maintaining a healthy diet wasn't the only change he made; he also did martial arts and worked out hard, which added up to six to seven hours of exercise per week. This has resulted in not only a substantial loss of fat but also a gain in muscle.

The user said that he still has the clothing he wore in his old picture, so he's considering taking a new picture in those same clothes to compare his progress. The progress of his weight journey can be seen from the first picture he posted, weighing 280lbs, and the latest picture, weighing 220lbs, showing a considerable difference in his arm, leg and neck size.

In his post, thenewtbaron mentioned that he was considering working out more on top of his martial arts, either by cutting out his love of beer or procrastinating less. He's also planning to add more regular gym days into his schedule.
