The Journey

M/20/5'9" destroyed Reddit with his amazing 70 pound weight loss, thanks to his perseverance and targeted training.

Regimen

He exercised five days a week, with thirty minutes of running, followed by weight training for thirty to sixty minutes. He then developed several routines from there. In the first three months, he ate anything he wanted but consumed no more than 1500 calories a day; bad idea he admits, because although he lost weight fast it was far from smart.

The turning point

He reached his goal weight of 180lbs in the fourth month but was stuck there until month five. In the fifth, he decided to give keto a try and developed an excellent lifting routine. Running Windays was now Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for six miles each run. Stopped doing keto and took a fat burner stack from the Complete Nutrition store near him in the seventh month, and hit his target weight of 170lbs.

Night-time routine and diet

His rest days were the same as his training days. He has rested for an average of 7 to 9 hours every night as a full-time college student and working every Saturday and Sunday covered his nutrition with a calorie intake of around 220p, 220c, 83f.

Takeaways

The journey wasn’t entirely rosy as the user admitted that a plateau moment nearly discouraged him. He advises everyone to find something else aside from the keto diet, which he found pretty intense at times. The experience shows that people can make their weight loss journey work with a consistent routine and perseverance.
