beenoddin, a female redditor, shares her surprising and inspiring journey on how she managed to lose 90 lbs in just 10 months. She’s had a history of being overweight, even bullied about it. But despite her weight, she’s always been athletic and remained physically active for a long time. She stayed around 270 lbs in high school but after a destructive relationship, she ended up gaining a lot of weight that led her to reach her highest weight of 334.6 lbs in March last year.

A hiking trip with her new workmates triggered her lifestyle change. Her friends encouraged her and supported her throughout her journey. She started doing yoga at home, going hiking and going on walks, and slowly incorporating more hand weights. Although she keeps track of her progress, checks in a lot, journals and weighs herself, being mentally strict all the time is not her approach.
