Gotshrimp, a Reddit user, had been into weightlifting since high school and never saw weight as a problem, until he realized there was no point in him being so heavy. He started dieting by watching what he ate, and with regular gym activity he lost 30 pounds quickly. He then maintained his weight of around 205-210 for about a year.

In July of the same year, he discovered keto, which is a high-fat, and low-carb diet. With keto, he was able to shed another 30 pounds since then. He continued to work out despite the low carbs, and his results were impressive.

Gotshrimp's diet relied on eggs for breakfast, a turkey sandwich for lunch and grilled chicken, broccoli, and brown rice for dinner. He switched to a high-fat and low-carb diet with vegetables, meat, healthy fats, and oils such as extra virgin olive oil.

Gotshrimp's transformation is an inspiration to many who want to lose weight and achieve healthy lifestyles. A keto diet is a therapeutic intervention that can improve metabolic health and lead to weight loss. Regular exercise, in combination with a proper diet, is essential for maintaining a healthy weight.

It's important to note that keto may not be for everyone. Keto diet has shown to have many benefits and side effects; therefore, it's better to talk to a healthcare professional before starting any diet. Anyone who is embarking on a weight-loss journey must remember to stay motivated, consistent and open to various diet options.
