Introduction: From Bulking to Modeling

DeathIsTruth, a 23-year-old male standing at 6'4 and weighing 199lbs, took his weight loss and muscle gain journey to Reddit. Initially focused on bulking, his post shared his new passion for fitness and modeling. After sharing progress pictures on a fitness subreddit, a scouting company found him and offered him a job in Las Vegas for a fitness clothing line photography shoot. Since then, he has been pursuing modeling for local spin bike classes and is hoping to sign a year contract with a modeling company.

Lack of Noob Gains

Despite his experience from training for a few years, DeathIsTruth struggled with lack of noob gains due to his previous weightlifting experience. However, his passion and dedication for fitness helped him overcome this hurdle and achieve his fitness goals.

Building a Portfolio

Although DeathIsTruth made about 2k USD for 5 days of work in Las Vegas for a fitness clothing line shoot, he now does local spin bike class photoshoots to build up his modeling portfolio. While it only pays $30, he sees it as necessary experience to help him sign a year contract with a modeling company, which is his ultimate goal.

Persistence and Passion

DeathIsTruth's journey showcases the importance of persistence and having a passion for one's goals. Despite struggling at the beginning, he pushed through and discovered a new passion in fitness and modeling. Anyone can also start with small steps and develop a habit to slowly improve one's physique and overall fitness goals.

Try it out for Yourself

It's a great idea to start with a habit of working out every day, like walking or doing push-ups. Start small, and build up your workout gradually. Try to engage in physical activities you find fun to motivate yourself to continue. Dedicate yourself to your goals, and anything is possible.
