The Journey Begins

In August of 2012, user o157h7 on Reddit's Body Transformation Fitness Challenge subreddit posted an introduction to her weight loss journey. At 25 years old and 5'2, she weighed 103 pounds and wanted to see more definition in her abs. Little did she know what the next few months held in store for her.

The End Result

By November 4th of the same year, o157h7 posted her completion photos, showing off her new body at 95 pounds. Her waist had shrunk from 24.5 inches to 22.5 inches, and her body fat percentage had gone from 24.7% to 18.8%. Not only had she achieved her goal weight, but she now had the visible abs she had been working so hard for.

The Method

O157h7's weight loss was achieved through a combination of calorie counting and exercise. She aimed to consume around 1200-1300 calories per day, with a balance of protein, fat, and carbohydrates. She also incorporated a mix of strength training and cardio into her routine.

The Support

Throughout her journey, o157h7 received words of encouragement from her fellow Redditors on the Body Transformation Fitness Challenge subreddit. Many of them had similar goals, and they provided tips, advice, and support to keep her motivated. Her success also inspired others to continue on their own journeys.

The Takeaway

O157h7's journey shows that with dedication, a calorie deficit, and a mix of strength training and cardio, it is possible to achieve significant weight loss and visible abs in just a few months. However, it's important to remember that weight loss is a personal journey, and what works for one person may not work for another. It's important to find a sustainable routine and to seek support from those around you when trying to achieve your goals.
