Introduction

It's no denying that losing weight or getting fit is tough, but with the right motivation and discipline, it's possible. One of the ways to motivate oneself is by joining a challenge, such as the r/BTFC challenge on Reddit. Here, you will find the weight loss journey of Animal_Underpants as she shares her progress and routine to lose 7lbs by tracking her calories and doing a variety of exercises.

Getting Fit - The Routine

Animal_Underpants' routine includes a combination of weight lifting, cardio, and yoga. She's using Fitocracy to keep track of all her lifts and is also counting calories to aid in her weight loss. She admitted to not giving it her all, and at times she got stressed and tried to make up for it. This is something we can all relate to, but the key is to keep going and try not to be too hard on oneself.

Progress - The Journey

In her post, Animal_Underpants shared pictures that show a noticeable difference in her body. Although she's critical of her progress, anyone can see that there's a transformation. She's also gained strength, which is a fantastic achievement. Losing fat and gaining muscles at the same time is no easy feat, and this alone deserves applause.

Traps and Growth

Animal_Underpants' post also included a question about her traps developing unexpectedly. She didn't do any exercise that focuses on her traps, and she's worried about them getting any bigger. The advice of Redditors was not to worry about it too much, as female traps don't get significantly big unless someone uses steroids or train specifically for bodybuilding. Moreover, they suggest avoiding direct trap work and shrugs to prevent growth.

Conclusion

Losing weight and getting fit is a journey, and Animal_Underpants is on the right track. Her progress can be a motivation for others to try things out themselves. Losing seven pounds is a great start, and who knows, maybe she will join another challenge in the future, and we can follow her progress again. Remember, the key to success is to keep going, and not worry too much about minor setbacks.
