Introduction - Missdeejers' Starting Point

Missdeejers started her weight loss journey in August 2011 at 126 lbs with a goal to lose weight and improve her athleticism. When she started, Missdeejers followed a 5-day weight training split and tracked her food intake via MyFitnessPal.

A Powerful Transformation

Through lifting and eating clean, Missdeejers was able to transform herself. She hit personal records (PRs) for her lifts, including a 250 lb deadlift. By the time the Body Transformation Challenge deadline came around in October 2011, Missdeejers had become a powerlifting champion.

Missdeejers' Approach to Lifting

Missdeejers preferred to do free squats instead of using the smith machine. She followed a 5-day weight training split and found success in doing so. She enjoyed lifting big with heavy weights, and coupling her lifting with clean eating.

Missdeejers' Successful Diet

Missdeejers tracked her food intake using MyFitnessPal and ate a combination of protein, fat, and carbs. She ate clean foods, such as chicken, vegetables, beans, and whole grains. Missdeejers avoided processed foods and drinks and drank plenty of water daily.

Conclusion - Encouragement for a Successful Weight Loss Journey

Missdeejers' journey shows that anyone can achieve their goals with discipline and determination. By combining regular lifting with clean eating, anyone can transform themselves into a more athletic and healthier version of themselves. Find a weightlifting split that works for you and enjoy the process of lifting and eating well.
