Her weight loss journey started in July 2015 when she weighed 177 lbs. In 21 months, she managed to lose a whopping 51 lbs, going from 182 lbs to 131 lbs.

Methods

Wambolicious' biggest contributing factor to weight loss was her warehouse job, which required her to be on her feet for 40 hours a week. With an extremely regimented schedule, it was very easy for her to plan meals and snacks, which helped her stay on track. She started by limiting herself to 1500 calories, but it wasn't enough to get her through the day. She added 100 calorie snacks to her breaks, bringing her total to 1700 calories. In the past few months, she stopped logging her calories and started estimating them, but still does weekly lunch preps, keeping them at about 500- 600 calories.

Future Goals

Wambolicious now wants to begin lifting and building muscle mass. Her boyfriend and she are moving soon, and once settled, she plans to get back into the calorie counting game. She also wants to work on her flexibility and posture. Her weight loss journey has made her feel like a champion. She is now the lightest she has ever been since middle school.

Apart from feeling good about herself, Wambolicious mentioned that shopping for clothing is now almost fun, as opposed to being a trigger for the 'I feel fat' thought.
